B&S Globifer Iron is an iron supplement in capsule form, supplied as 30 capsules, formulated with ferrous sulfate alongside bovine haemoglobin powder.

About iron

Iron contributes to normal red blood cell and haemoglobin formation, to normal oxygen transport in the body, and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Requirements are higher during pregnancy, and in people who menstruate heavily.

Important — please read

  • Do not self-diagnose iron deficiency. Fatigue has many causes, and iron overload is harmful. Ask your doctor for a blood test before starting iron supplementation, and follow the dose they recommend.
  • Iron can cause constipation, nausea or dark stools. Taking it with vitamin C aids absorption; tea, coffee and calcium reduce it.
  • Iron can interact with several medicines, including some antibiotics and thyroid medication. Check with a pharmacist.
  • Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six. Keep well out of reach of children.

How To Use
Take 1 capsule daily with water or juice, preferably with a meal. For optimal results, use consistently as directed.
