Citronella oil is an essential oil known for its citrusy scent which is mainly used as aninsect repellent, especially mosquitoes. It slows or prevents the growth or spread ofharmful airborne bacteria. Due to its antioxidant properties, citronella oil can reduce muscle spasms, ease headaches and boost energy. Outdoor spray:10-15 drops in 60 ml of water. Topical& Hair:Dilute 1–2 drops in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of a carrier oil (jojoba, argan, or sweet almond) before applying to the skin. Aromatherapy:Add4-5 drops to a diffuser with water.
